GREAT lunch or snack idea I thought I would share. Sliced apple with nut butter ( pictured is one with natural almond butter & a sprinkle of orange crush natural granola & the other with natural peanut butter & a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips). This really helps when you have that craving for Salty/Sweet! You don’t need a lot of any of the ingredients as the flavor really comes through! You just core your apple & then slice it into thick slices. (I dab the juice off the apples with a paper towel so the nut butter sticks better) lightly frost each piece with the nut butter (peanut or almond) & then sprinkle with a few mini choc chips, low fat granola, or nothing (they taste great just as they are). Then place two together & make your “sandwich”. I sprinkled cinnamon on top of mine. When the kids come home from school this is what they ask for 9 out of 10 times!
